Das Kupferstichkabinett ist die größte graphische Sammlung in Deutschland – und eine der vier bedeutendsten der Welt. Sie umfasst über 500.000 druckgraphische Werke und etwa 110.000 Zeichnungen, Aquarelle, Pastelle und Ölskizzen. In diesem Universum der “Kunst auf Papier” befinden sich Werke bedeutender Künstler von Sandro Botticelli und Albrecht Dürer über Rembrandt und Adolph von Menzel bis Pablo Picasso und Andy Warhol. www.smb.museum The Museum of Prints and Drawings is the largest collection of graphic art in Germany – and ranks among the four most important in the world.
